I talked to a Birmingham based start-up selling t-shirts to share what they see as the dark truth behind vaccines.
I was right in the middle of it. My final year of University, and while my housemates and I were all stuck in the unrelenting grasp of dissertation writing, I popped downstairs for some respite and lunch.
Checking the post, the fairly typical pamphlets that come with being in a student-filled suburb were all there: Fast food places open until late, advertising dodgy but delicious pizzas; three for ten pounds on Jager bombs at a variety of clubs. But what really caught my eye was a curious little flyer: ‘THE FASHIONABLE TRUTH’, it read in all-caps serif.
‘WE ARE STRIVING TO BUILD A COMMUNITY OF LIKE-MINDED, FREE-THINKERS, THAT ARE READY TO DO EVERYTHING THAT WE CAN AND WHATEVER IT TAKES IN ORDER TO EFFECTUATE A MASS AWAKENING OF PEOPLE TO THE BIGGEST LIE AND THE MOST ELABORATE PSYCHOLOGICAL WARFARE OPERATION IN HUMAN HISTORY. WE ARE AT WAR, AND WE ARE THE ENEMY.’
What had I stumbled into?
Upon further inspection, I had worked out what this ‘community of free-thinkers’ believed as I let out a quiet ‘oh no’. The pamphlet that had arrived at my door was advertising a range of t-shirts with the intent of spreading the message that the COVID-19 pandemic was a hoax, that its vaccine was a dangerous experiment in mass population control and that seemed to implicate companies such as Mastercard, Microsoft and Subway in this ‘psychological warfare operation’.
It didn’t take me long to arrange an interview with a representative from the company over Zoom. He wanted to remain nameless.
What is it your company does?
ILLUMINATEES is a fashion brand, I suppose, at this early stage, we use that term quite loosely, our products have proved to be controversial, quite divisive and misinterpreted. But we just intent for them to be conversation starters, a tool for spreading what we believe is the truth.
We have had the accusation levelled at us that we’re trying to capitalise on the pandemic and exploit like-minded people. If that were the case, if it were just money we were trying to make, then surely we would invest in face-masks, sanitiser and gloves, that is the bigger market really.
Who do you usually hear these criticisms from?
The bulk of the criticism has been from ‘keyboard warriors’, people online. We were boosting a number of our posts on Facebook, we apparently violated their policies so we were banned from advertising our posts on Facebook.
We’re trying our best to engage with people who have left comments on the posts. As you can imagine the reaction has been quite mixed, there’s some positive but a lot negative.
Your flyers and adverts make some big claims. Could you talk me through what you mean by ‘a dystopian socialist new world order’?
If I could take you back to my personal journey of awakening in around 2008 to 2009. A couple of my then work colleagues insisted that I watch the movie Zeitgeist, a 2007 movie in three parts that presents various quote-unquote conspiracy theories. One part makes the very compelling case for the Christian religion being derived from other religions and astronomical assertions. Also questioning the historicity of Jesus, claiming that he never existed as a historical person, but was rather a blend of various pre-Christian myths.
Part two of the movie alleges that the attacks of September 11 2001 were inside-job false-flag attacks perpetrated by the government of the United States and the corporate interests they serve, in order to generate mass-fear, justify the war on terror, provide a pretext for the curtail of civil liberties and obviously war usually means economic gain.
The final part of the movie pertains to the United States Federal Reserve monetary system being controlled by a cabal of international bankers in order to establish a one-world government, something that we are very much seeing come to pass today. This third part also speculates that, under such a government, every human could be implanted with an RFID microchip to monitor individual activity and suppress decent.
That was the first time I’d heard of human microchipping and its dangers.
Is this what you mean by ‘a dystopian socialist new world order’?
I truly believe that this event, the COVID-19 pandemic, is the most significant in world history. It has brought humanity to a figurative cross-roads, possibly the most critical juncture we’ve ever been at. It really is beyond belief that after thousands of years of recorded human history, no single event has ever shaped the world so significantly as this pandemic looks like it may very well.
The overwhelming majority of the public may not realise it but we are at war. Just because we’re not seeing tanks and soldiers, bombing campaigns, air-raid sirens and rationing, it doesn’t make what’s happening today any less of a war, it’s modern warfare. And with the public completely under the spell of governments and their media cohorts, social engineers and their think-tanks; they’re just bombarding us on a daily basis with brainwashing propaganda. Old-fashioned, blood-and-guts warfare, they just don’t need to do it like that any more, it’s not necessary.
Speaking of propaganda, there’s a lot of distrust of the mainstream-media. How do you think this ‘cabal’ operates? What do you think their main goal is?
We feel that we are sleep-walking into a technocratic totalitarian tyranny. Awaits us all is a life of countless virus variants and regular vaccinations. Demonisation and discrimination of the unvaccinated, permanently restricted travel and movement, ‘mark of the beast’ RFID microchips, social credit systems, cashless society and universal basic income, economic collapse, unemployment, homelessness and starvation the likes of which would be previously unimaginable in a first-world nation such as ours.
We and other like-minded people believe that there is a depopulation agenda hiding in plain sight. For instance, Mr William Henry Gates III (Bill Gates), despite not being a virologist or immunologist has become somewhat of a global poster-boy for vaccinating the entire world. Yet, in a now rather infamous TED Talk from over a decade ago, he talked very openly about reducing the population by ten or fifteen per cent.
Fact check:
I managed to track down Bill Gates’s TED Talk which is available to watch here1.
However, Gates’s talk is not about population control, but rather, about innovation that can help lower carbon emissions. The quote that is seemingly so infamous is a brief aside:
‘The world today has 6.8 billion people, that’s heading up to about nine billion. Now, if we do a really great job on new vaccines, healthcare, reproductive health services, we could lower that by perhaps ten or fifteen per cent.’
At first, it seems like Bill has proved the antivaxxers’ point, ‘with vaccines we could lower the population by ten or fifteen per cent’. However, this is a misinterpretation. Gates is specifically talking about population growth, not overall population. The introduction of vaccines, healthcare and reproductive health services actually reduce population growth due to their affect on child mortality.
When developing countries have better access to healthcare, their population grows slower. This is because as child mortality decreases, people have less children due to the children they do have being more likely to survive until adulthood. This is evidenced by the declining birth rate in the developing economy of Bangladesh, where the average birthrate per mother was seven in 1960, four in 1995 and two in 20191.
I want to talk briefly on the big topics you’re hitting on. You mentioned poverty, universal basic income and inequality, these are issues steeped in politics. Where do you align on the political spectrum?
I’m not apolitical, but no, I’m non-partisan, I can’t pigeon-hole myself politically. I personally have both liberal and conservative views depending on the topic. I’ve always found it quite strange that people blanket align themselves with either the left wing or the right wing, one party or another. I actually abstain from voting because I’m of the opinion that politics is a corrupt system, one which I don’t endorse. If voting made a difference, they wouldn’t let us do it.
I believe politics is pure theatre, we’ve all seen party leaders and other MPs cracking wise at each other, hurling playful insults, they seem to have a right royal laugh. That’s why I liken politics to professional wrestling, the winners are pre-determined, they may hate each other on-screen but back-stage they’re the best of friends.
What do the powers that be get out this mass-control? What does Bill Gates gain from microchips in vaccines?
If they have the power to carry out these objectives, then why not do it? I can’t even put myself in their shoes and begin to guess why they would want to control people and the world in this manner.
If we can’t really be sure why they put microchips in vaccines, why then do you believe that that’s what they’re doing?
I believe that this ties into the variants that we’ve been seeing. What these multiple variants will allow them to do is give us regular vaccinations and then eventually the vaccine will be linked to vaccine passports and curtail the freedoms of people who don’t comply. Eventually the vaccine and the vaccine passport will be one-and-the-same because the vaccine could very well contain a microchip.
There is a video with Jay Walker who is the CEO of a company called ApiJect. In the video he rather nonchalantly explains to the host how straight-forward it is to incorporate a microchip into vaccine technology. His company has signed a $138 million contract with the United States government, so it’s more than the stuff of conspiracy theory.
Fact check:
You can see the video he’s referencing here3.
In actual fact, Jay Walker of ApiJect is talking about attaching RFID microchips to the outside of syringes in order to better track vaccine information such as the number of doses administered. The video makes it quite clear that the chip would not enter nor touch the patient.
It seems, that one conspiracy may lead to another, like a pipeline or rabbit-hole. Many cite the film Zeitgeist as the entrance to this hole, a film who’s chaptered nature lends itself very well to pulling you down further. First it is not so difficult to accept the things they propose, allowing them to prime the audience for more and more questionable assertions.
I got my second vaccination in September 2021, I’ve had no side effects and have not been stalked by g-men or billionaires ravenous for blood since. The truth is that the vaccine is safe and has minimal side effects, as confirmed by the dedicated teams that have spent the last two years creating and testing it.
I think that nevertheless we should not ignore people that have their concerns. It is feelings of mistrust, abandonment and denial by authorities that have encouraged conspiratorial thinking. Pushing sceptics to the side and calling them stupid will only worsen these feelings and lead to less trust of the vaccine. Instead, we should work to educate those that come across misinformation about how to conduct proper research.
The level of scepticism we are currently faceing will never be healed until people have governing bodies they can actually trust, and that means in tackling other issues such as poverty, unemployment and homelessness. The question that many are asking themselves is ‘why should I trust the vaccine when the people in power have never helped me before?’.
